Orchid House
Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs
of all visitors to our home based, two bedroomed bed and breakfast. The following statement is a
summary of our provision. Please phone or e-mail if you have any queries.
Pre-arrival
Orchid House is 3 miles from
Great Malvern and the train station.
There are no close bus stops.
The website has photographs
of the guest rooms.
Arrival and parking
There is ample parking in
front of the house close to the front door.
Assistance can be given with
luggage.
The threshold to the front
door is 25cm high.
Main Entrance
This leads into a large hall
with tiled floor.
The dining room and sitting
room lead off it and have short pile fitted carpets.
There is no ground floor
guest toilet.
The staircase leads from the
hall and has a sharp turn at the bottom.
There are 13 steps to the
landing and guest bedrooms
There are handrails on both
sides of the stairs.
Guest rooms
Guests are escorted to their
rooms and the facilities explained.
Both rooms are en-suite and
short pile carpets are fitted in the bedrooms and vinyl floor coverings in the
bathrooms.
The televisions have remote
controls.
The shower cubicle has an
edge of 28 cm to step over.
The toilet is 43 cm high.
There is little free space
beside it.
Dining room
The dining table is shared by
all guests.
Special diets can be catered
for if requested.
